Edith’s house is my favourite local dog friendly spot situated in Crouch End, North London.

There is so much to love about this place, from Edith’s House’s resident French bulldog to its welcoming staff.

Dogs are always greeted with a blanket, bottle of water and saucepan bowl, dog treat, and aww’s.

Currently they serve quite a small afternoon menu consisting of drinks and scones. The scones are huge and delicious, consisting of inventive flavours such as peanut and coconut. For an extra few pounds clotted cream and a whole host of different jam flavours can be added.

I believe Edith’s House also do a breakfast menu although I’ve never gotten there early enough.

They are currently also looking at dinner options.. with promises of cheese fondue.

The most striking feature about Edith’s House however, is its decor.

Modelled after a beautifully styled kitsch house, there are seating areas in homage to grandma Edith’s bedroom, kitchen, lounge and even bathroom!

Well worth the visit if you’re in the area.
