Doga for those of you who don’t know is dog yoga.
That’s right people, it’s a thing. In London. To do yoga with your dog.
Based in The Pirate Castle in Camden, the venue was a little grimier than I expected, having only experienced yoga in the very affluent area of primrose hill.
It was also a very different type of yoga to what I was expecting. With the main focus on breathing and becoming one with your dog, we barely did any moving or stretching at all.
Unsurprisingly, many of the dogs were not interested in yoga at all. Preferring to run around licking people’s faces.
If you’re looking for a spiritual experience with your dog, then this may be your thing.
If you’re looking for offbeat ways to spend time with your dog then please do try a 1.5 hour drop in class for £22.50.
It was a fantastic laugh but I don’t think I could bring myself to go again.
