Remember when Marley and I went to Edith’s House for tea and scones? The one with the really kitsch decor?
Well they’ve finally launched their evening menu and it is as amazing as you would expect.
The staff were genuine as always, giving Marley welcome dog biscuits, water and blankets.
We sat in the living room/kitchen side of the restaurant eating reasonably priced delicious home cooked food. It was like being at your favourite aunty’s house without all the awkward questions.
We had a two person fondue pot with added chorizo and truffle oil. It came with a selection of different things to dip in including beetroot, garlic cauliflower and carrots.
We also got a few small dishes including potted shrimp and polenta fries which came with ketchup and chilli jam.
And of course desserts – salted caramel on top of chocolate mousse and affogato.
Marley has a bit of a rivalry with the French bulldog that lives there but the owners kept them apart and eventually Marley got bored and fell asleep.
All in all this is a wonderful place that every dog owner should visit.
